~Puzzle Cube~

Objective : The objective for this project is to brainstorm and sketch possible solutions to an existing design problem. Select and Approach that meats or satisfies constraints in the design brief. Create somple extended solid computer aided design.
In this project Puzzle Cube we had to take on the design process .
First, we identified the problem of this project by going over the design brief with the teacher.

Second we brainstormed by sketching different combinations for 3,4,5, and 6 cubes on isometric paper.

Third, we selected an approach by sletectying five figures and then we interlocked them to make a 3 by 3 cube out of platsic.

Then , we made a model or prototype out of wooden cubes that replicas the platic cube we made out of 5 shapes.

Last, we considered packaging by creating a box to package the cub as if someoine was really buying the cube. The pictures on the side were taked during this whole project which include pictures of my engineers notebook , and my packaging box.

To the left is a slide show that touches upon our work done durring the Puzzle Cube Process.

~Applied Statistics~

Objective:  TLWBAT calculate the mean , median , and range of the data set.
In this lesson "Applied Statistics" we first had to pick out 27 3x3cm cubes. We then labeled them with the numbers 1-27 while also writing our initials on them in case we loose them. After, we took a dial-caliper to measure each cube ,1-27's precise measurement. After measuring each cube we recorded the measurements in our engineers notebook, where we also worked out the mode, median , range, and mean(average). After we then , took our data and graphed it, and finally we did the conclusion questions.

Sketching Techniques

Perspective
Isometric,Oblique,Multieview Drawings

In this unit called " sketching techniques" we learned how to sketch several different objects in more than one pictorials. The pictorials we learned were Isometric, Oblique, Perspective, and Multi View Drawings. In the picture shown to the left, In the top corner is an example of shapes drawn in oblique point perspective. In the bottom right corner, it shows how shapes are drawn in a isometric point of view, while in the bottom left corner , in my engineers notebook, it shows how multi view drawings look in a top, front and right perspective. In the next picture it shows drawing of perspective shown in one point, two point, and three point.

Project measurement

Book Pages
~Power Point~
~Book Jacket~
In this project we had to research the history of measurements while creating a book jacket or CD cover through the use of multi -tasking. This project called  "project measurement " took serious time and work for me , which kept me capable of creating a PowerPoint presentation, which included the history of the object and other information, while at the same time being creating making a book jacket with information that included questions needed to be answered. These two pictures shown below are my book jacket as well as my PowerPoint presentation i created on my own. This also includes the information i typed and inserted inside of the book jacket which includes questions needed to be answered like stated above.

PRODUCT EVOLUTION

~Enginners notebook~
~PowerPoint Presentation~
In this project, Product Evolution students were asked to do the task of creating a power point presentation on a product that has been inmovated in the past. I chose to do the Nike's the most common sneaker worn in America . Things that were include in the power point , were the history , time line, innovations, and reference information used for the power point. In the engineers notebook, i included ideas such as the first sneaker ever made, and my conclusion questions.

INNOVATION : BEVERAGE CUP

~Poster~

~Enginners Notebook~

We had to create a beverage container in the way we liked. We wrote down our ideas in our engineering notebook and sketch the way the customized cup would look like. After that we drew our sketch of the cup we sketched it on a big piece of construction paper and then presented it to our peers and teacher in the groups we worked in. In the other picture i have my engineers notebook which includes my ideas, and sketches for this project , The beverage container.
